Privacy notice
For candidates whose CV or details WRKFORCE holds. Version 2.
Who we are
WRKFORCE is a recruitment consultancy based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We match candidates to roles at our clients. Here, "we" means WRKFORCE.
What we hold
- What is on your CV: name, contact details, work history, education, skills, location, nationality and anything else you included.
- What you or a recruiter told us: expected salary, notice period, availability.
- A profile an AI tool builds from your CV when you join: the kinds of roles you may suit, your skills, years of experience, sectors, seniority and an estimate of the salary range for your profile. You do not see it. Your own salary expectation, if you gave one, always takes priority over the estimate.
- Notes about how well you fit a role, including a score and a short written summary produced with the help of an AI tool, and our recruiters' own notes.
Please do not send us documents we do not need, such as a copy of your passport or Emirates ID, unless we ask for them for a specific step.
Why we hold it
To find you suitable roles, to put you forward to clients, and to run the hiring process if you are shortlisted. We do not sell your data. We never charge candidates a fee for finding them a job.
Who sees it
- WRKFORCE recruiters, delivery managers and founders working on roles that may suit you. Before a recruiter takes you forward for a role, they can read a version of your CV with your name, email address, phone number and links removed. They receive your full CV and contact details only when they take you forward.
- A client, only after a recruiter has spoken to you and you have been put forward for that client's role.
- Service providers who help us run the system, listed below. They handle data only on our behalf.
AI and decisions about you
We use an AI tool to read CVs, to build the profile described above, and to write a short summary of how a CV matches a role. Before the AI reads your CV, we remove your name, email address, phone number and links from the text it receives. The profile is used only to help us find roles that may suit you. The AI never decides anything about you. A person at WRKFORCE decides whether you are put forward. Records of what was sent to the AI tool are cleared after 30 days.
Contacting you
Roles that suit you appear in your WRKFORCE portal, which you open with a link we email to you. We may email you, at most about once a week, to say new roles match you, and a recruiter who is interested in you for a role may email you the same way. Role details (without naming the client) are shown in the portal, not in the email. In the portal you can apply, say a role is not for you, tell us where you are now, what visa you hold, when you could start and whether the pay range works, and see how your applications are going. A recruiter may also write down what you tell them by phone or message. This information is shown to the recruiter and to the Delivery Manager who reviews your profile. Every email has a link to stop job alerts, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Where it is processed
We use cloud services that may process data outside the UAE: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI reading of CVs) and Resend (email). We rely on our agreements with them to protect your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while it is useful for finding you work. If nothing has happened with your profile for 12 months, we erase your personal data. Records of completed placements stay, without your name or contact details.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, stop using it, or erase it. When you ask us to erase it, we delete your name, contact details, CV file and CV text. Ask us at the WRKFORCE address you have been given by your recruiter, and we will answer as soon as we can.
Security
CVs are stored in private storage that is not reachable by a public link. Access is limited to WRKFORCE staff who need it for their work, and what they do with candidate data is logged.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will publish the new version here.
